Nancy has achieved success in a variety of industries. Her career started as a civil litigation trial lawyer and for more than ten years she represented both corporations and individuals in the litigation process. In conjunction with this she has been, and continues to be a Court appointed Civil Mediator and is regularly selected by the Court and lawyers to mediate their disputes to a satisfactory resolution. |
Nancy has given numerous presentations on the mediation process over the years to judges, lawyers, and insurance companies, along with various levels of government officials as well as students at the high school, undergraduate and graduate university levels.
Nancy left the practice of law in 1999 to enter the entrepreneurial arena when she accepted a position which involved the start up and management of the legal recruiting arm of an American based company. Most recently she acted in a leadership and management role with a Christian charity at which time her primary responsibilities dealt with enhancing communication and team building within the organisation. She was also responsible for the supervision of donation revenue and the development of relationships with key individuals and organisations to enable the charity to increase its profile and acquire support.
Education
Nancy is a graduate from the University of Alberta where she obtained her Bachelor of Laws and Carleton University, where she obtained her Bachelor of Arts, Honours in Psychology.
